A man shot by police in Perry County Thursday night had beaten his father in the street and knocked a police officer to the ground and punched him in the face before the shooting, according to court records.
The officer had been called at around 7 p.m. to the scene in Marysville after a domestic altercation inside the 41-year-old man’s home on the 300 block of Church Street, the documents said.
